Install VNCtask App

Search for VNCtask: Professional Task Management in the Play Store or Apple App Store and install the application.

After you have installed VNCtask, you can:

  • create, update, change, and delete tasks;
  • set due dates, priorities, tags, and more;
  • collaborate in teams and companies.

Switch among VNClagoon apps

You can go to another VNClagoon product from VNCtask if you have a subscription to the product. It means that you do not need to open the product URL in a browser and enter your credentials to log in.

  1. In the upper left corner, tap the hamburger menu icon .
  2. Tap Apps. You should see only the products you are subscribed to.
  3. Select a required product and you should be redirected to this product.
  4. If an app is not installed or available for the selected product, the web client for that application is opened in your phone's default browser.

Log out

Logging out of an account in the VNCtask app does not delete your account.

  1. In the upper left corner, tap the hamburger menu .
  2. Tap Logout.

Account Information

Create an account

Before creating an account, ensure that you are using the proper URL. For this, tap "Change server URL" on the login page, enter the appropriate URL, and tap "Change".

  1. Tap Create New Account.
  2. You will be redirected to the VNCdirectory sign up page.
  3. Enter your first name, last name, email address, and select a country.
  4. Enter and confirm your password.
  5. Tap CREATE ACCOUNT. Once you register, a verification email will be sent to your email address.
  6. Tap the access link provided in the email to activate your account.
  7. Enter your credentials in the labeled fields and tap LOGIN.
  8. Read VNClagoon’s terms and policies, then tap Accept, if you agree to the terms, to create your account.
  9. Choose VNCtask from the VNClagoon start page.

Change your profile image

You can add a VNCtask profile image or change your current profile image. By default, your avatar is a circle with your username's initials.

  1. In the upper left corner, tap the hamburger menu .
  2. Tap your profile image.

  3. Tap Upload Photo > Change. You can choose a photo from your library or take a new photo with your camera.

    • If you want to remove the current profile photo/picture, tap Remove.

  4. Customize your image if needed.

  5. Tap the checkmark icon at the bottom.

Help & Privacy Statement

Access Help Center

  1. In the upper left corner, tap the hamburger menu .
  2. Navigate to About > Help/Manual/FAQ.

  3. Select one of the following options:

    • FAQ. Frequently asked questions for quick guidance.
    • Manual. A comprehensive user guide providing step-by-step instructions on how to use VNCtask.
    • Help. Send an email to report issues or ask for assistance directly.

Access Version and Changelog

Easily find details about the app version and its updates using the "Version & Changelog" section.

  1. In the upper left corner, tap the hamburger menu .
  2. Navigate to About > Version & Changelog.
  3. Tap Changelog to view recent updates and changes to the app.

  2. Navigate to About > Legal Notice and then select one of the following options:

    • Terms of use. A "Terms of Service" agreement provides details about the relationship between VNClagoon and users. It sets forth clauses that embody the rules, requirements, restrictions, and limitations that a user must agree to use the VNClagoon applications.
    • Data privacy. The Data Privacy Policy provides details about what type of information is collected and tracked on the website, how the information may be used, and with whom the information may be shared.

Contact VNC Service Desk

The VNC Service Desk is available for submitting support requests related to issues, bugs, or feature requests for VNCtask.

  1. At the top, tap the hamburger menu .
  2. Navigate to About > VNC service desk.
  3. Tap VISIT VNC SERVICE DESK.

  4. Complete the form, providing details like subject, product, version, and description. Required fields are marked with an asterisk.

    • Add attachments, if necessary, by tapping Browse.

  5. Tap Create to submit your request.
