Log in

  1. Navigate using your web-browser to the URL provided by your administrator.
  2. Enter your credentials to the respective fields.
  3. Click LOGIN.

After you have logged in, you are taken to the start page of VNCsafe.

Quick overview of VNCsafe

VNCsafe is a secure cloud-based solution for storing, accessing, and sharing files across devices and platforms. It supports desktop sync, WebDAV, and mobile apps, ensuring seamless file management. VNCsafe integrates with VNClagoon products like VNCmail and VNCtalk, enhancing workflows by enabling file sharing within emails and chats. It includes advanced features like tagging, activity streams, and document collaboration, offering businesses a robust tool for secure data handling.

VNCsafe start page consists of the following sections:

  1. Apps Selection Menu: Located in the upper left corner, click the hamburger menu icon to reveal the menu that lets you access various apps, available for your account.
  2. Left Navigation Bar: Here you can quickly filter your file browser for shares, favorites or even deleted files.
  3. Application View: The main central section in the VNCsafe user interface, the file browser. You can browse through your stored and shared files and folders as well as files and folders shared to you by others and perform operations on them.
  4. Search: Click the magnifier icon in the upper right corner to search for files.
  5. Settings Menu: The personal menu guides you to your settings and the help functions. The dropdown menu also provides you an option to log out of VNCsafe.

Change profile photo

You can add a profile photo or change your current one.

  1. In the upper right corner, click your username.
  2. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click upload new or select from files button.
  4. Select an image (max 20MB) from your device and crop it if needed.
  5. Click Choose as profile picture.

To remove your profile picture, simply click the remove image button . Once removed, your profile will automatically revert to the default avatar that was assigned after your first login.

Once you are logged into VNCsafe, you can switch between File and Gallery view with just one click.

  1. In the upper right corner, click the gallery view icon . This will take you to the gallery view mode.

    • File view. Displays folders and files as a detailed, scrollable list. It offers quick access to file details like size, modification date, and type, making it ideal for organizing and sorting.
    • Gallery view. Presents files and folders as large, tiled thumbnails. This is particularly useful for visual content such as images, videos, and documents with distinctive icons, allowing users to identify files at a glance.

  2. If you want to switch back to file view mode, click the file view icon .

Log out

Logging out of an account in VNCtalk does not delete your account.

  1. In the upper right corner, click your username.
  2. Select Logout from the dropdown menu.
