VNCdirectory Overview¶
VNCdirectory is a centralized directory service designed to streamline and secure account management for VNClagoon users. It enables Single Sign-On (SSO) access across the full VNClagoon software stack, allowing users to manage all their credentials with a single set of login details. With VNCdirectory, administrators can efficiently create, modify, and deactivate user accounts for all VNClagoon products through a single interface, simplifying user provisioning and eliminating the need for individual updates across multiple applications.
It supports the management of user information, contact details, group memberships, permissions, and access controls. Users can be organized into teams, departments, and organizations with granular roles and permissions. Additionally, VNCdirectory manages the VNClagoon Start Page, offering an easy navigation point to all subscribed VNClagoon products.
For enhanced support, VNCdirectory optionally integrates an ITIL-based Helpdesk module, enabling professional management of VNClagoon support tickets.
